The German legislator's operational safety regulations require presses to be inspected before they are started up for the first time, after longer periods of idleness, after modifications, and at regular intervals. Not without reason, as presses – be they fully or semi-automatic – harbour great risk potentials.
Regular safety inspections, also outside the applicable statutory requirements, will guarantee your company's compliance with safety and quality standards. And as a part of the preventive maintenance they will also help to keep the involuntary downtimes of the machines to a minimum. This saves costs and trouble.
We will do this for you, for example by way of a maintenance contract: while keeping an eye on the schedules, we will ensure a professional inspection that caters to the type of protective devices installed, and checks their safe interaction with the press controls. And we will naturally also document our inspection findings in a QM-oriented manner. A plaque at the press will meanwhile certify the month and year of the last inspection, as well as the date of the next one.
